This was a school project for my Computer Graphics class. We were to pick an object or tool and make it look as real as possible using Illustrator. I chose a fly reel, well, because I like fly fishing and I was pretty sure no one else would. The hardest part of this for me was to give the right angle to the text that wraps around the reel. A semi success. I learned alot from this project as far as color sampling, gradients, LAYERING, and using gaussian blur to create the shine and light reflection on the metal.
